Well some may want to know where Joshimath islet me tell ya its a place near Badrinath (one of the "CHAR DHAMS" ) in uttarakhandThis one shows the way to JoshimathIts surely a beautiful placebut its a dangerously built townmost of the construction has been done by cuttin portions of rocks from the mountainIf i were an architecture student out there then i wouldnt be surprised if i got a site as the one behind me in d snap JUS ONE BIG HUGE ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!well dats wat the place is all about only the mountains are firstly blasted usin dynamite den retainin walls are blt(dat too really huge ones)n well they is very less or absolutely no usage of cement due to cost and safety reasons (coz as said by one construction engineer the makin of cement is not allowed in most places like dese)Well now dis snap out here shows a housing colony of the jaypee hydroelectric project on the way to badrinath. Its been built in the shape of a ship. Really beautifully built structureThere are a lot of hydroelectric projects bein carried out in dese areas n d sites where they have been made are surely beautified to the most
And of course wen we talk about Badrinath we surely do talk about Kedarnath too
Man dat trip.............
its been engraved in my heart n its sure gonna last lifelong .......................i can never forget the amount we had to walk!!!!!!!!!!
8 hours goin n 10 hrs comin
all d way walkin
well it did test our patience n endurance
the most difficult part was wen we were about to reach ...........dats wen it was most difficult to move on coz the altitude was real high......decrease in the level of O2 (REAL CHOKIN KINDA FEELIN)
and the way was difficult too (n not to forget the smelly part) becoz of all the horse shit dat lay on the path
there were horses for ppl who cldnt walk.. even palanquins to carry older people
but as we slowly approached the temple the tiredness seemed to dissapear
it felt as if God was done wid the testing session well it actually felt great to be inside the rock cut temple
This one is the way well it was actually full of waterfalls n other lovely things to see
the trip sure taught me things ie
PATIENCE WILL SURELY YIELD GOOD RESULTS!
